Jacqueline Furey Is a purveyor of the beautiful and bizarre, straddling the worlds of sideshow, burlesque and circus in her rhinestone stilettos.

Furey made her name as a trained dancer turned stripteaser, soon adding a myriad of risqué skills to her performance repertoire. As a fan dancer, fire eater, sword swallower, knife target girl, hair hanger and then some, she has graced stages from gilded theatres to grand circus tents the world over.

Furey has earned rave reviews and sold-out crowds both in Australia and abroad. She has headlined Reuben Kaye’s infamous cabaret THE KAYE HOLE, and has featured in the international award winning cabaret Bernie Dieter’s LITTLE DEATH CLUB and KLUB KABARETT. Furey contributed to the development of and performed in debut tour of The Wonderland Spiegeltent’s POPCORN UNDERGROUND.  In 2019, Furey showcased her "beauty and balls of steel" on AUSTRALIA’S GOT TALENT, leaving judges and audiences alike aghast.

Most recently, Furey featured in PINK FLAMINGO's debut Adelaide fringe season. She also co-directed and featured in the latest remount of Australian circus legend Chelsea McGuffin’s LE COUP, as well as appearing in Chelsea’s newest work AZUL.

When not on tour, Jacqueline can be found at local burlesque shows in her home city of Brisbane, Australia, as well as regular seasons at the iconic BRUNSWICK PICTURE HOUSE.

Described as bewitching (The Weekend Edition), a wildfire (Xpress Magazine) and a force to be reckoned with (Scentr) Jacqueline is undoubtably an exceptionally talented performer and guaranteed showstopper.
